acorus 

Acorus (Acorus gramineus): Commonly known as Japanese dwarf rush. It is a slow grower growing in cool environment. Size, 10-30 cm.

Bacopa (Bacopa monnieri): Similar in appearance to Ludwigia. Easy to grow, needs strong light. Size, 30 cm.
cabomba

Cabomba (Cabomba aquatica): In weak light this plant spreads out on the surface of water. Grows quickly. Size 30-40 cm.
ceratophyllum

Ceratophyllum (Ceratophyllum demersum): Cosmopolitan in distribution. It has got very stiff leaves and is tough. Propagated by cutting.

Cryptocoryne (Cryptocoryne balansae): They prefer soft to moderately hard and slightly acidic to alkaline water. Vegetative multiplication by means of runners. Size, 40-70 cm.
egeria

Egeria (Egeria densa): This is a fast and densely growing coldwater plant, requires regular pruning. It reproduces through flowering. Size, 30-40 cm.
hydrilla

Hydrilla (Hydrilla verticillata):  This hardy plant has many narrow leaves, on its long stem. It grows very fast.
hygrophila

Hygrophila (Hygrophila difformis): It has green ragged-edged leaves, the underside of which may appear quite white. It's a hardy species. Size is 30 cm.
sagittaria

Sagittaria (Sagittaria graminea): Vegetative multiplication occurs by means of seedlings formed on a runner. It prefers moderate lighting, soft and slightly hard water. Size 40 cm.
ludwigia

Ludwigia (Ludwigia palustris ): Its thick, fleshy leaves green with reddish underside. It can flourish in good light and prefer cool water. Size 30 cm.
myriophyllum

Myriophyllum (Myriophyllum aquaticum): The fine leaves prefer soft, acid water. Size 40 cm.
vallisneria

Vallisneria (Vallisneria spiralis): A grass like species, quite easy to grow. These fast growing plants prefer bright light. It reproduces by sending out runners.
