🌟 Inauguration of Hybrid Training Programme on Precision Farming at CeL, KAU 🌟
We are delighted to announce the successful inauguration of the Hybrid Training Programme on
“Precision Farming: Techniques and Technologies for Kerala”, organised by the Centre for e-Learning (CeL), Kerala Agricultural University (KAU).
The inaugural session was held on 15 December 2025 at 1:45 PM, marking the beginning of an enriching learning journey focused on modern precision farming approaches tailored for Kerala’s agricultural landscape.
🌏Presidential address was delivered by
Dr.Kunhamu T. K., Director of Education, KAU
🚀 The training programme was formally inaugurated by
Dr. Binoo P. Bonny, Director of Extension, KAU, who emphasised the importance of technology-driven farming practices for sustainable agricultural development.
👏 Felicitations were offered by
Dr. Mani Chellappan, Dean, College of Agriculture, Vellanikkara, appreciating CeL’s continued efforts in capacity building and farmer-centric innovations.
🙏 The session commenced with a warm welcome address by
Dr. B. Ajithkumar, Director, Centre for e-Learning, KAU, who highlighted the objectives and significance of the training.
📘 An overview of the programme was presented by
Dr. Abdul Hakkim V. M., Organising Secretary,
Professor & Head, Department of Soil & Water Conservation Engineering, KCAEFT, Tavanur, KAU.
🌸 The inaugural session concluded with a Vote of Thanks by
Dr. Akhil Ajith, Institutional Coordinator, CeL, KAU.
This programme brings together farmers, academicians, researchers, professionals, and students to explore cutting-edge precision farming technologies aimed at enhancing productivity and sustainability.
