Deeksharambh 2025 | Study Visit to Centre for e-Learning, KAU

As part of the Deeksharambh Orientation Programme for the 2025 batch of B.Sc. (Hons.) Climate Change and Environmental Science, students visited the Centre for e-Learning (CeL), Kerala Agricultural University on 6 November 2025.

The session began with a warm welcome and an engaging presentation by Dr. B. Ajithkumar, Director, Centre for e-Learning, who introduced the students to the Centre’s pioneering initiatives in digital learning and online media-based education.

The highlight of the day was the screening of “Podikizhangu”, a short film produced by the Centre for e-Learning, which is now available on the CeL YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLZtszAt3bU) 🎬.

Dr. Akhil Ajith, Institutional Coordinator, CeL, provided an insightful overview of the Centre’s diverse activities, offering students a glimpse into the creative and technological dimensions of modern e-learning.

Students also got a hands-on experience with AR-VR modules developed under ICAR-NAHEP, immersing themselves in the future of interactive education. The visit concluded with an exciting walkthrough of the green screen studio and editing suite, featuring a live video editing demonstration, giving students a real-time look into the production process.
