Fundamentals of Landscape Design Using CAD - 2026

Successfully started our Online Training on "Fundamentals of Landscape Design using CAD"🏡🌳— a five-day intensive course designed to blend the art of landscape design with the precision of CAD drafting.😊
Participants began by exploring the “why” and “how” of creating sustainable, functional outdoor spaces, and then transitioned into hands-on training in 2D AutoCAD drafting — gaining the skills to turn design concepts into professional plans. 💡📐
Dr. Yamini Varma C. K., Director of Education, KAU presided over the function.
✨The program was formally inaugurated by Dr. Binoo P. Bonny, Director of Extension, KAU.
Dr. P. Lincy Davis, Assistant Professor, College of Agriculture, Vellanikkara welcomed the gathering, and Dr. Mani Chellappan, Dean, College of Agriculture, Vellanikkara shared his compliments.
Dr. B. Ajithkumar, Director, Centre for e-Learning, KAU along with Mr. Levin Samual, Landscape Architect were also present.
Dr. Akhil Ajith, Institutional Coordinator, Centre for e-Learning, delivered the vote of thanks.
😊A big thank you to our resource person Ar. Levin Samuel for the wonderful sessions. The five-day online training programme combining the essential skills in CAD software tailored specifically for the landscape and agriculture industry including insights into basic 3D modelling on AutoCAD will end on 15th May, Friday.
